The Legend of Jericho Scott Begins...

The fantasy baseball league I'm in allows for three keepers, so drafting young players with tremendous upside has it's obvious advantages. So next year I plan on using my first pick on nine year old New Haven, CT phenom Jericho Scott. The heavy handed hurler is currently under contract with 'Will Power Fitness', but his deal is up after this season and his 40 mile per hour fastball is sure to have many MLB teams drooling. Just how good is the hard throwing right-hander? Apparently good enough for his Spanish Youth League's hierarchy to decide that Jericho no longer be allowed to pitch to his fellow nine year olds because he throws so hard and accurate that he may put the fear of God in his opponents. Imagine if someone had attempted this sort of thing with a young Bob Gibson or Pedro Martinez? In the end, it's just another sad case where parents take things way too seriously and stick their noses where they generally don't belong. What Jericho Scott really needs right now is a teammate like Tanner Boyle of Bad News Bears fame; He wouldn't let any of this sh*t fly.
